85 METAR is a transactional aviation weather SMS service operated by Valkyrie Resources, LLC.
Opt-in
Users voluntarily register their telephone number to use 85 METAR. Registration constitutes consent to receive transactional SMS messages in response to requests initiated by the registered user.
Messages
Messages may include requested METAR and TAF information and service-related responses necessary to process those requests. 85 METAR does not use this service for marketing messages.
Frequency
Message frequency varies according to the requests initiated by the user.
Help and support
For service assistance, contact the service operator through the contact information provided during registration.
Opt-out
A registered user may request removal of their telephone number from the service. Once removed, the number will no longer be authorized to receive requested weather responses until it is registered again.
Charges
Message and data rates may apply according to the user's mobile or satellite messaging provider.
